Newbies

Foster the People are kind of a brand new band, I think. Live 88.5 has started their song "Pumped Up Kicks," as I've learned from Caitlin. It's pretty phantasmagorical. If that word means what I think it means, that is.

Sunnydale

Imaginary Cities is the band. I tried to think up a good imaginary city -- I arrived at Buffy Summers' hometown of Sunnydale. Because I'm awesome like that.
And I suppose it's fitting. Well, in a very roundabout way, which I will now explain:
Buffy Summers, as the Slayer, spends lots of time in graveyards. Well, in the graveyard in Sunnydale.
Graveyard, also known as cemetery.
In a Hot Hot Heat song, they mention the flowers left in cemeteries for ghosts, but which only the hummingbirds enjoy.
The song I'm featuring is called "Hummingbirds."
There you go. Roundabout connections. Huzzah!

Know

In January, at one of our dress rehearsals, I learned that Drew (who played Jay) is in a band. He's the lead singer, I think.
Ernyway, they're called Patrons of Science (formerly, I think, The Fringe). They pretty awesome. In fact, they so awesome, I forgot to say "are."
Hanyway, the song I want you to track down online is called "Loosey Lucy."

English

In the English version of Digimon, specifically in series two, the song "Run Around" plays. When I looked it up to find out what it was called, I learned that it was by one Jasan Radford of the band Onesidezero. However, in my research I found no evidence otherwise of him having done anything independent from his band. So I don't know...

Exams

I hate exams. I really do. And I'm preoccupied with studying for the one I have tomorrow, so I'm not really focused on this. But I'll tell you, "Walk Around the Lake" by Lost in the Trees. And that it's an awesome song. Je l'aime tellement!
