Like Veran!

Sorry, let me start at the beginning. Welcome to My Week. This is the week when I'm featuring my seven favourite bands, counting down. In fifth place, we have the only non-Canadian band on the roster: IFD, of course. They're pretty nerdy and awesome; I mean, look:


Anyway, I'm certain they'd appreciate the reference "Like Veran!" in response to the title of their song "She's Got Sorcery," which is from their new album, coming out very soon. (Oh yeah, I didn't mention -- this week, I'm using new songs from all of them.) Because Veran is a sorceress (ergo, has got sorcery) and is from a Legend of Zelda game.
Win.

Okay, I realize I just came back after months, but I have this whole list of songs to feature, and they, like my iTunes, are on my computer, which is on its way to Dell right now, so that they can fix poor Gertrude's backlightt. As such, I am currently using my sister's old computer, which runs on Microsoft 2000. Yeah, 2000. Professional.
Anyway, so I may not be able to feature for a while.

Fighting Another Dragon at the Same Time, Making it Plural Dragons, Ergo...

"I Fight Dragons." But of course. It is, after all, the I Fight Dragons Weekend. Tonight's song is so awesomely amazing!!! It's called "I Fight Ganon." And if that made you think of The Legend of Zelda, you are far from in the wrong. I mean, what other Ganon is there?

So, I recently became acquainted with a band called I Fight Dragons. As a result, I'm introducing, one time only, an I Fight Dragons Weekend! This is our second-ever Weekend. Not our second weekend, of course, but our second Weekend. Anyway, the song today has a controversial title:
