Today is my friend Tayia's birthday. We've known each other for 15 years now! That's over three quarters of either of our lives! CRAZY!
Anyway, I once sang her "Stacy's Mom" but changed it to "Tayia's Mom." I did it to make her feel awkward, 'cause it's her mom, and her mom is awesome. She said she was going to tell her mom. I don't know if she ever did, but I told her she should.
I'm sure Fountains of Wayne wouldn't mind if they knew I was adapting their song to weird her out.

Julie
I'll bet if I said I'd feature a Fountains of Wayne song for this month it would be about Stacy, or maybe her mom. Well it's not. On the episode of "Scrubs" in which Dr. Kelso imposes a "No Airbanding" rule, I learned of an awesome other song by this band, called "Hey Julie." Incidentally, J.D.'s girlfriend at the time was a girl named Julie. As the song begins to play, he walks down the hall air-guitaring until he runs into Dr. Kelso, who points at the sign expressing his new rule.
(And I said "incidentally," not "coincidentally.")
