Woman

I don't care if people think the banjo is a hick instrument. The Stampeders make it work awesomely in "Sweet City Woman."

Véronique

Yes, "Véronique" is a French song. But Canadian French, if that makes any difference. It's about, as I would imagine, the worst hangover ever. The fridge is on fire, the cat is cut in half...
Anyway, I don't know where this Veronica comes into it, but she does somewhere. I think. I don't know; they sing fast, and I can't understand French if it's really fast. Only if it's normal people speed.
Oh well. Do it yourself.

Oh, and that's 3 gars su'l sofa. That means "three guys on the couch."

Eileen1

Today has two songs. Well, two bands doing different versions of "Come on Eileen."
There's the original version by Dexy's Midnight Runners,

and there's the cover by Save Ferris.

They're both really good; I couldn't pick one.

Mrs.

This song is originally by Simon and Garfunkel, but I don't have that version. I don't know why. Anyway, I'm going with The Lemonheads' version. "Mrs. Robinson" was actually originally called "Mrs. Roosevelt," and was about Eleanor. Roosevelt. So maybe I should have called this post Eleanor... Oh well.

Henrietta

There are actually a few Fratellis songs I could have chosen, but I decided to go with "Henrietta." If you want to know what some of the other ones were, just check out "Costello Music." It's a good whole album.

Julia

Sorry to disappoint all you Beatles fans, but this isn't their "Julia." (Oh, and I don't mean to imply by that that I'm not a Beatles fan. If you inferred that, my apologies.)
No, this one belongs to Fefe Dobson.

Girl1

Remember when "Absolutely (Story of a Girl)" was a new song? Man, thinking about that makes me feel really old.
Hey, is Nine Days still together? I wonder...
